Hmm.. good drift/daily?

i need to buy a new daily driver soon, on a budget, but i'd also like to learn to drift.
So, here it is - what would be a good car for this? i love the Rx7 FB's, but i heard that they don't drift very well due to lack of power, atleast on a dry surface.
Give me your opinions/ideas

buy a cheap old truck for sub 1k. then buy a drift car. if you daily a car you are trying to drift it will break and you will be screwed. fact.

s13's are super cheap and easy to work on. Parts are cheap, you can't really go wrong with it as long as you get a solid chassis with no wiring problems. KA's are awesome if you keep them maintained, and they can take a beating and be reliable.

Don't expect to daily and drift anything with a rotary in it.

Be ready and have money to purchase a second car when you get damage to your drift car.
