"drift ****" install

Purchased the Cusco drift **** for the parking brake. Purchased from Touge Factory and no instructions came with it. If anyone has any information I would be grateful.

Thanks,

Andrew

Are you serious?

If it's anything like the push-spin **** you can get on ebay for $5 you just push it in where the button goes, you dont remove the button, just push it in over it.

I just wasn't sure if it was to be pressed in, screwed in somehow, or if it replaced the factory button.

Thanks,

Andrew

No problem. I know the 350z is a bit different but everything else is "push it in".

Hey dude, it's pretty easy. I'm sure you can figure it out. You unscrew yours. Remove the spring, and screw in the new one. Done deal, pull up the e-brake and pull the button out to lock the e-brake. That's all there is to it.

i never liked these things. they would sometimes lock them selves partially up.

i removed the handle, the rod, and spring, and put tape around the drift button and pressed it back into the ebrake, and left it.

when you need to park, and lock the ebrake, there's a little catch you can easily just flip down to lock, and just pull the ebrake up like normal whenever you want to release it.

As far as I know, it's the same application.

Contact Japan2LA, I feel like he's sold them and they were for both the FC and the FD. I could be wrong though, considering I don't need to keep up with the FD.

I've enjoyed mine, definitely a lot easier than the stock one. I have accidently tapped it while releasing, and it ended up staying engaged, but that was just once, and user error.
