It really is getting bad. I did a virus and malware check of my phone thinking it was my device.
These popups are horrible. Can't be backed out of you just get caught in the popup loop.

fuuuuck that. That looks like the virus with those scare tactics. The last thing I'd do is download that app. In fact I'd check that no Applock crap already wormed its way in.

Kaspersky, Avast, McAfee, Norton....familiar names that won't infect your phone.

 

I don't click it. It's not from the App. It's from the web version of the site. This is the only place I get that pop up.

 

I get the “Amazon $1000 Giftcard” popup every 3 minutes on this site and LS1Tech. Only happens on my iPhone tho, my Android S7 work phone has no problems. Veryyyy annoying

 

The other day was the first day I even bothered to hop on here while using my phone. 30 seconds later I get blasted with spam even though I'm logged in. Shitty and over the top is what that is.

 

I am getting to the point where I don't even use the mobile site on an iPhone. It is ridiculous. There should be some sort of standards for what advertisers you allow and some sort of screening process.

 

It's been absolutely horrendous as of late could hardly even find the information I needed over the weekend from threads I had bookmarked as reference.

I'll echo these comments. The pop-up / redirect ads are really bad now. It used to just be once in a while, now it's all the time. Also, are these paid ads? They look like scams....

Also, to get back to the site, go to your history and look about five pages back. That's how they keep you from hitting back to eliminate the popup....

Yeah I find this pretty bad also aye. Every time I come on to this website on my phone. Also doesn't help having the millions of normal ads on the website which then make it difficult to do anything on the forum -.-

 

I was getting this today too. Rendered the site unusable. Some **** about congratulation ive won $1000 and my device is infected click here fro protection. Plastered in youtube, android, google, samsung, iphone logos. Who ever is responsible for this ***** needs to be found and killed.

 

I get a bunch of redirects saying I've won Amazon gift cards when trying to view the site on my iPad. It's really annoying. It's coming from one of the advertisers on the banners I believe

All these issues are pushing away new members also. Alot of people on facebook say that there are so many ads and adware they won't use it. I get the ads help make the payments, but i would think keeping new people coming in would be higher up on the "to do" list

Its absolute bullshit. Cant use my phone on this forum at all. The pop-ups come as quick as they can load, one after another. It really needs to be addressed.

 

the rx7club app was a good idea when it was around. i wish they would have pursued making that better
