Edit title / post

This may have been posted before, but whats the deal?

I like to edit my posts after the 10 minute limit or whatever it is. It cleans things up and makes it easier on people. Especially if it is something important and people miss it on the post I made later on.

Also, thread titles? Is there any way to be able to edit them? Maybe a certain user group or something? I know for the Calendar thread I wanted to update it a few times and felt guilty asking Moderators. This would be an awesome function to have.

One more thing, the new thumbnail viewer. I found it to be extremely irritating. You click the attachment, get the light box fancy pants image, then click it again to open it in a new tab? Any way to click the image and close it? That little X is small!

Thanks,
Chris

so how long do you think is reasonable?

20 minutes? 30 minutes? 60 minutes?

There will always be someone that wants to change something and want a day or two to do it. The worse offenders are typically in the classifieds section, which is why the rule was created, because they kept changing prices or what ever to screw with people.

I agree that it would be great to be able to change the contents of your posts, especially within the Classifieds area. But, it seems that when people are given a little slack then they take advantage of it. It is easier to take away the rights from everyone then Banning the offenders.
