Disable the "Related Thread" page extension

Is there any way to remove this?

It's intrusive, all it does is fool the user into continuing to scroll down and read a topic that is barely even "related" when it's not their intention.

Forcing someone to read another thread for no reason is about the worst idea I can think of for a public information forum/community.

If you're going to continue showing this mess, please allow users to disable this useless extension if they choose not to have the website pick what is important for them to read.

Go down to the Bottom LEFT Of the screen and switch to Classic Next Gen.

It resets itself to infinite awful every time you log in.

And you have to log in again every time you change IP addresses, apparently. Which means I have to change that stupid setting over and over and over. Please fix this!

Yeah, I dunno, it still logs me out frequently -- if not every time -- when I switch computers, and it resets that damned infinite scroll, too. And I always click remember me.

I've had to change the setting like 10 times.

The issue is that you change computers. It only sticks if you only use one computer and do not log in on another computer.

Perhaps the mods should set classic to default instead of infinite.

I typically use two computers, so I just live with changing the scroll option. I guess it times out after a week in your case.

Either way, it doesn't bother me too much. I just scroll to the bottom of the main forum page right away and set it to Classic if I remember. If I forget, oh well. It's not hard to set, just slightly annoying.

As someone who uses this site from home and work, I would greatly appreciate the Classic Next Gen as the default setting.

+1 for having to login even after using remember me.
