The best way I can answer that is Threads are Subjects...Posts are Replies.
So if you Create a Thread you Start up a "conversation"..
It May pop up as a Thread for instance "How can I fix my flat tire?"...
BAM!..it gets Put on the Forum and then Guys respond with POSTS ..like.."take it to a tire shop".."tires are only flat on the bottom"..and "if you use helium instead of air in the tire it will never go flat"..
Just like the Name of this Thread is "???"
