Guys, I have 3 sets of older Toyo R Compound tires that are just taking up space at my house and I would like to give them to needy or enthusiastic lappers. I have 1 set of 225x50x15 Toyo RA1's. 2 have decent tread and 2 are assymetrically worn but still good. The set should easily last more than a few track weekends. They are hard, but after about 6 or so laps work well. Put the deeper treads on the rear, flip the fronts so that the more heavily worn areas are on the inside and they would be golden. Free to a good home.

I have another set of 235x45x17 RA1's, same as above but with a bit more wear. Should be good for a couple of hard lapping days, maybe more depending on the HP of your car and how hard you drive. They fit fantastic on to an 8" rim. Again free to a good home.

Finally, I have a set of 235x40x17 R888's, a lot newer and take offs from CTCC cars a couple of years ago. They have a full day left in them, but depending on your driving style and the abrasiveness of the track, you may get a couple of days out of them. They are right down to a slightly above holographic tread pattern. They should work at this level pretty well. Could be good for a Time Attack day. Again free to a good home.

All in good condition, all were spares in case I needed them, but for some reason I now have tires coming out of my ying yang and will never get to using these so if you can come to Oakville to pick the sets up, they are yours. No, I will not ship them and no I will not go out and take pictures of every tire. They are good track day tires and you will get your butt handed to you if you try to compete on them as they are too hard now. Also, I will throw a gypsy curse on anyone who picks them up from me for free and then turns around and sells them. Not good karma.

I will be out of town for the rest of the week, but you guys can start picking them up this weekend if we set up a time.

I just came here to say I love this community, stuff you just don't see in other brands and makes.

 

Sorry Buggy. A buddy of mine wants the 17" RA1's and he needs them for a track day this weekend. You can have the rest of the R888 17's and the set of the RA1 15's. I will also look and see what else I may have.
