Hope you are not worried about that. I'll be there. |
You guys are committed – thanks for scouting the route and suggesting the meetup locations.
|
Not worried.
If only us 3 wants to come, we should do 8am for a cooler less traffic drive. 2 other RX7s prefer an early start too |
I prefer 8 am as well.
|
8am same meeting spot?
Fine with me... |
8am, same spot. Let's do it!
|
See you tomorrow!
8 am at Tim Hortons on Highway 20 (Upper Centennial Parkway) and Mud Street in Stoney Creek. |
I'm still 50/50. May be there.
|
Didn't check the forum last evening!
I'm too late, just got up. Next time. |
Guys - we are at Morningstar Mill - will wait for you
|
Ok, coming
|
Don't wait for me, over an hour & a quarter from home
If you posted earlier I would have probably made it. Cheers Enjoy the cruise! |
How was it? I ended up being out way too late last night to be up early enough to make it. Need some better planning and a solid time & location, and I'd be in for sure.

It was a small turnout but the driving was fantastic – the Niagara cruise route is strongly recommended if you like twisties, winding roads, and beautiful scenery – there was also a fun tunnel run. There are a bunch of steep hill sections along the route as well, so it isn't all flatland.
We had a group of 5 cars (4 FDs and one FB) and got accidentally separated partway through the drive, so we'll make sure to get everyone's contact info next time to keep things coordinated. I used a bit less than half a tank for over 5 hours of driving. Our small group parked in Fort Erie for lunch (we went to Happy Jack's Chinese restaurant across the street) – Mike's red FD had to leave early – the hoods are slightly up for cooling off: https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...25378d8640.jpg |

Yes, the driving is so good that it is worth doing more than once a year. We could do it backwards for a little change.

Drive was good ... we did it in "Sunday driving pace".
Need to do it at night and go "Track Pace" |
i'd much prefer an evening/night cruse actually
|
No problem – we'll bring back Hot Import Nights. There are a bunch of evening meets across the GTA all summer long, but few driving events (other than illegal street racing).
