Well it was supposed to be a pressure source I could use for something. Except I made a mistake and drilled the blockoff plate at the wrong spot. I needed to drill it about an inch higher, near where the small holes in the gasket would be.

nice build btw!
Thanks.

do you have poly trans mounts as well?

Yes. I have broken stock trans mounts before. I'm still glad I got them but again the poly mounts do increase interior rattles.

also..what size are your rear tires?
225's. yeah. I need to get bigger wheels but obviously that costs money. I don't think you understand how bad the wheelspin is right now. in cold weather with 1/4 throttle in 2nd gear it will get sideways just driving down the road. The car is very dangerous in turns.

I can't imagine trying to drive my car around with 225 in rear, and i'm pretty sure your engine produces more power than mine.

Video time! A friend of mine wanted me to hit it in 3rd real quick so he could take a video on his phone. This is a 70-100mph pull in, um, Mexico. I top out 3rd at about 95mph, shift into 4th, then hit the brakes.

Oh, and I got new tires. They are Dunlop DZ-101's still at 225/45/17 all the way around. They really aren't the greatest tires but they are much better than dry rotting Sumitomos from 7 years ago. Surprisingly the grip is pretty good once they warm up, considering what I paid. I'm not spinning in 2nd anymore and steering feel is much improved. I wanted to get new wheels and bigger tires but the price of tires has gone up due to inflation and other macroeconomic factors, so I'm going to use the money I saved on something else.

I really liked your last video! I always laugh when trying a powerful car... The more powerful, the more I laugh.
