CA My new FC3S project

What up fellas so here it is, after 14 years being without a 7 I got my third FC3S GTU. I got it from an original owner that is a 65 year old lady. Super clean interior and exterior needs work but that's all good beacause I own a body shop. The left quarter panel was hit when she was parked in a parking lot and her son fixed it for her, but the repair was worst than the ghettoest job anyone of us has probably seen. Anyways it's currently at my shop and being worked on so i'm going to post pictures from the first week on..........

Just put stance coilovers and the rear wheels on.

Regular vs. H I D

Left light finished

At Lucky7 getting my turbo2 swap done

First start up with the swap

Nothing yet just a stock turbo2 swap for now. As soon as Im done with all the body work and paint then Im going to get my suspension setup, corner balanced and all. Im gonna do a couple more track days with the stock motor then start building the beast LOL

Now this is when I torched all the Bondo off from the previous repair on the left quarter panel.......

Those are all the pictures till today I will post more as I go along.

I'll get a front mount when I start moding the engine. Yeah I can't wait till it's done.

Thank you. About the taillights you just have to be patient with them. If you don't want to put it in the oven like everyone says, you can do it like I did with a heat gun.

i said that for the sake of saving money/having a more sleeper look if the intercooler is hidden well. anyone who pulls up against him and sees a t2 hood and knows what a t2 is is gonna know its a turbo, gtu hood + turbo + vmount = sleeper/fun!

Thank you. Yeah about the wheels I kind of have to leave them on because when we're pulling the fenders and the quarter panels we constantly have to lower the car to check to see if they're even and how it looks with the wheels on.

I'm suprised no one has asked yet. Specs on the wheels/tires? Also curious on what you didn't like about the Shine 30mm fenders?

Well Im going really wide in the front as well as the rears so the 30mm fenders were not wide enough for my setup, thats why I decided to modify my stock fenders. Specs of my wheels are...........

Front 17x9.5 +21 with a 8mm spacer 245/40/17 but i'm changing to 255/40/17
Rear 17x10.5 +26 with a 15mm spacer 275/40/17

Wow...this is so dope. For those that dont know, Arno sold me my first (legit) Rx7 back in 1999. Back then, he was as hooked on ride height and dropping a car as he is today. Awesome.

Anyhow, he came to me mid last year and decided he wanted back in the Rotary game after retiring from it for some years. Arno, your car is dope and Im so glad you decided to return to the the Rotary family. This project looks promising and cant wait to see more. BTW, I had no idea you did a track day in it already???? Insane.
