My New 87 turbo II pics
Ok now that i think i understand photobucket i will show off a little. lol. So I picked up my car probably 3 weeks ago from a mazda mechanic in Tennessee I drove it buck to kentucky without a problem. Then i started to find the problems with the car that i missed at first. I was prepared for it but i knew if the engine was good i could deal with the rest.
Things done in the few weeks owned .Whole new stereo system with pioneer 6, 1/2 in the struts and, new cpu, new horns, several new interior pieces. and other stuff i can't remember. Mods 70-1 turbo borgwarner , 6 puck sprung clutch assly , new tial 41mm waste gate , new tial blow off valve ,new hks cast iron exhaust manifold , new 650cc injectors ( 2 at top end) , new koyo alum. radiator , 2 new electric fans , 3 in down pipe , 2 1/2 rest of exhaust , also has new inoviate wide band ,new quick throw shifter. trust exhaust mufflers that were hidden by overspray from repaint very pleased about that i cleaned them all up. I love stainless. http://i636.photobucket.com/albums/u...anescar003.jpg http://i636.photobucket.com/albums/u...anescar005.jpg http://i636.photobucket.com/albums/u...anescar010.jpg http://i636.photobucket.com/albums/u...anescar006.jpg http://i636.photobucket.com/albums/u...anescar013.jpg http://i636.photobucket.com/albums/u...anescar007.jpg http://i636.photobucket.com/albums/u...anescar009.jpg http://i636.photobucket.com/albums/u...anescar008.jpg |
Looks clean man. Need a bigger intercooler now.
nice car look great
if your car runs shitty its cause of your VAF is not flat so the little flapper door inside is probably open more then its suppose to cause of gravity keeping it open. make it level like its made to be and you will be better off.:icon_tup:
wow thats a pretty car.
i am jealous. keep the interior and everything as clean as possible i like it!! |
Wow man so clean, great car. Do you have any ideas of the numbers? And definitely get a front mount or v mount to get some more air and power to that thing if you can!
thanks for the comments. car runs strong at 10psi but will fix that problem. anyone know what wheels are on my car because i have no idea. like them but i cant read the name on the center caps. i will take pics and see if anyone might know. looks like areo or areo something. lol
and dam i guess i need a intercooler.
but i still have to get every thing working. i have the wiper switch problem and a power window problems left to go. intercoolers later. |
amazing interior
That car is super clean!
I like that exhaust system. Looks clean! and your interior is flawless!
the interior. wow...im envious =p
cleaaaaan. :icon_tup:
i probably spent 1/2 a day on my interior. used dawn and a bucket of soap and a 5hp shop vac and alota time. it pulled out almost every stain. thanks
the drivers side bolster is next! |
i need to do my drivers side bolster, car looks great.
wow nice and clean, would look even nicer with a v mount
You bought that from David right? He's a cool dude. He bought that car with a blown turbo, and did a bunch of work to it. Car is cool, and I'm glad that someone who will take it to the next picked it up. I almost bought it when it was.sitting with a blown turbo.. Just really partial to S5 trim levels.
Good luck with the car, I would suggest smaller wheels, the 18's aren't the best for spirited driving. :) |
Been working on the car got a new gauge surround piece from my other car and found out that this car's surround was held together by MIGHTY PUTTY. Stuffs shit and a pain in my ass. anyone know what wheels are on my car. Thanks
do you have a before/after pic of the interior? i want to see how much stains it have before...
It looks really nice...Sweet pics...
sorry i don't im not much of a picture taker but im trying to start. soapy water and a shop vac Ftw

Thanks man I like them to, I think they have the right look and the width is about perfect. If I had a lil drop in the back I think it would make them look better. just don't know what they are i will take some close pic's to see if anyone knows.

You can still run a S5 motor with a S4 Maf and S4 wiring. I ran my car that way in 03'.

beautiful car man!
congrats :D |
making progress with the turbo II. yesterday i took some time to fix the seats. mainly the drivers side bolster. it was spliced in half like most bolsters, we pulled the seats out of the car and uncovered the drivers side and pulled it out We fixed it with spray glue and some mattress foam. we were pleased but we still switched it with the passenger seats left side bolster. Both sides look very good.

Then we went to pull-a-part in Louisville and picked up a mazda 626 lip. test fit it on a rx7 on the lot and it was really close to what i wanted. Took it home, sanded it, fit it,painted it with spray can bed-liner. Then re fit it and installed.

Nice car bro. Wats your next upgrade?
im lovin the interior
next upgrade would be a white stock spoiler anyone have one???? Then just fixing some small body rust.
Thanks for the comments there much appreciated! |
Nice, very clean.
I may sell mine... (spoiler that is)
Nice! More updates! Great looking car.
How extensive is the rust on the passenger side?
RRTEC it really isn't that bad. it has some rust preventer on it and it will be fixed soon. i almost have everything in the car working! since i got my wiperswitch back from my neighbor fixed for $20. he is a electrical engineer and saved me a a lot of cash. after that i will be fixing the small rust and beating out the curb dent i guess? idk how that got there.
installed the momo. and put back the dash back together with all working switches and unbroken plastics. pics soon.
just bought s5 tails
Nice clean FC inside-out.
A lil more drop would really set it off. |
it would. someone buy me some coil overs.
I got some Ground Controls on tociko blues....
Beautiful car, keep it clean, especially that interior. Fast FC's are easy to find, clean ones.....not so much |
