Ok now that i think i understand photobucket i will show off a little. lol. So I picked up my car probably 3 weeks ago from a mazda mechanic in Tennessee I drove it buck to kentucky without a problem. Then i started to find the problems with the car that i missed at first. I was prepared for it but i knew if the engine was good i could deal with the rest.

el canito rotary 05-23-09 08:11 PM

nice car look great

maac0953 05-23-09 08:20 PM

if your car runs shitty its cause of your VAF is not flat so the little flapper door inside is probably open more then its suppose to cause of gravity keeping it open. make it level like its made to be and you will be better off.:icon_tup:

5lick 05-23-09 09:26 PM

wow thats a pretty car.
i am jealous.
keep the interior and everything as clean as possible
i like it!!

blackedoutFC3S 05-23-09 09:28 PM

Wow man so clean, great car. Do you have any ideas of the numbers? And definitely get a front mount or v mount to get some more air and power to that thing if you can!

bikeboy23332 05-23-09 09:50 PM

thanks for the comments. car runs strong at 10psi but will fix that problem. anyone know what wheels are on my car because i have no idea. like them but i cant read the name on the center caps. i will take pics and see if anyone might know. looks like areo or areo something. lol

bikeboy23332 05-23-09 09:55 PM

rx-711 05-24-09 01:33 PM

wow nice and clean, would look even nicer with a v mount

RRTEC 05-24-09 04:02 PM

You bought that from David right? He's a cool dude. He bought that car with a blown turbo, and did a bunch of work to it. Car is cool, and I'm glad that someone who will take it to the next picked it up. I almost bought it when it was.sitting with a blown turbo.. Just really partial to S5 trim levels.

Good luck with the car, I would suggest smaller wheels, the 18's aren't the best for spirited driving. :)

bikeboy23332 05-30-09 09:38 PM

Been working on the car got a new gauge surround piece from my other car and found out that this car's surround was held together by MIGHTY PUTTY. Stuffs shit and a pain in my ass. anyone know what wheels are on my car. Thanks

nyvan 06-01-09 08:25 AM

do you have a before/after pic of the interior? i want to see how much stains it have before...

bikeboy23332 06-01-09 09:36 PM

Thanks man I like them to, I think they have the right look and the width is about perfect. If I had a lil drop in the back I think it would make them look better. just don't know what they are i will take some close pic's to see if anyone knows.

maac0953 06-01-09 09:39 PM

But it has a S4 MAF...

Turbo II FC 06-02-09 02:44 AM

You can still run a S5 motor with a S4 Maf and S4 wiring. I ran my car that way in 03'.

beautiful car man!
congrats :D

bikeboy23332 06-23-09 07:36 PM

making progress with the turbo II. yesterday i took some time to fix the seats. mainly the drivers side bolster. it was spliced in half like most bolsters, we pulled the seats out of the car and uncovered the drivers side and pulled it out We fixed it with spray glue and some mattress foam. we were pleased but we still switched it with the passenger seats left side bolster. Both sides look very good.

Then we went to pull-a-part in Louisville and picked up a mazda 626 lip. test fit it on a rx7 on the lot and it was really close to what i wanted. Took it home, sanded it, fit it,painted it with spray can bed-liner. Then re fit it and installed.

RRTEC 06-28-09 08:32 PM

bl00dlust 06-28-09 09:24 PM

Nice! More updates! Great looking car.

RRTEC 06-28-09 09:42 PM

How extensive is the rust on the passenger side?

bikeboy23332 06-29-09 10:14 AM

RRTEC it really isn't that bad. it has some rust preventer on it and it will be fixed soon. i almost have everything in the car working! since i got my wiperswitch back from my neighbor fixed for $20. he is a electrical engineer and saved me a a lot of cash. after that i will be fixing the small rust and beating out the curb dent i guess? idk how that got there.

bikeboy23332 07-01-09 10:03 PM

installed the momo. and put back the dash back together with all working switches and unbroken plastics. pics soon.

bikeboy23332 07-07-09 02:32 PM

whitena 07-07-09 08:37 PM

Nice clean FC inside-out.
A lil more drop would really set it off.

it would. someone buy me some coil overs.

sharingan 19 07-08-09 02:46 AM
