I believe ignition is sorted running AEM smart coils thru a Ludwig harness set thru the haltech, using msd wires properly routed. The issue only happened while to engine was cold gonna get some work done today start to get this thing together need to do some cleaning and painting then it should be ready to go back in..

Thanks alot man I hope so too. It was a beautiful day I had off and put the motor back to where it should be.. The only down fall is I got pretty bad sunburn lol. Also got work done on tubbys car it actually looked like he was gonna beat me to start but he's waiting Ludwig to finish his harness.. Any way here's how my car sits as of now

JWteknix 05-06-13 05:37 AM

She runs. Ripped her around the apartment complex yesterday no leaks so far. Needs to be retuned runs alittle ruff at idle and dumps mad fuel.. I'm gonna get a water kit and ask Kahren to come retune it hopefully no more boom boom and a lot more brap brap

JWteknix 05-11-13 06:46 AM

Well been just letting it idle hear and there, drove it down the street to fill up on gas. Drives ok when warm runns super rich. Gonna be putting on new smoked sidesmarkers and third brake light today while tidying up a few other loose ends, hopefully lov2rev can get me another pair. My next project is to find a headlight washer tank and set it up for my AI reservoir. I think I'm gonna get a cooling mist stage 1 kit. Just gotta find this stupid reservoir that I didn't even know our car came with till other day. Here's a shity pick from last week ill snap a couple more today

Thanks a lot man if only my finger wasn't in the way..
So I'm on the grind for a headlight washer tank assembly. so I can run my AI but no one has one, and I'm determind to get one. till then I'm just waiting... I've stopped driving it, till it gets tuned.. Even with it just dumping fuel it hauls ass.
I'll get some better pix up soon, it much cleaner now..

glad to hear it's all back together now, Bro. I've been following your build for quite some time and i'm really happy for you. don't be bashful with any videos to come. :)

JWteknix 06-02-13 07:40 AM

Hey man thanks a lot. It has been along time. today ill got out and make a vid for u guys nothing spectacular but something. I some how found a head light tank when that arrives ill be ordering my water kit and installing every thing. My 2 friends want a tank too soo they'll be on the grind. That's about it need to get it tuned still so idk what I'm doin.. But I did pick me up a nice kimber 1911 a few weeks back that has been keeping me distracted..

Well the headlight washer task wasn't as easy as I thought, got it done tho. The s5 fog light will have to have some brackets made up to mount the light, the stock bracket will not fit, so that's the next project.. I'm going on vacation to Bonnaroo. When I come back, ill order the coolingmist kit..
Here some pix from today

JWteknix 06-10-13 05:43 PM

so I had pulled apart all the metal brackets on the headlight washer assembly, sanded, cleaned, primed and painted. they were all rusty and it took me so long to find this thing I treated it like gold.. but yeah mad work.. need to sell my profecb 2 to fund my ai system cuz im poor these days...

Duuuuuuuuuuuude, glad you have everything back together. The engine bay looks so clean

I missed it, but is that a JDM wiper washer?

Which one did you ended up going with? And, are you not going to run a boost controller?

JWteknix 07-19-13 04:46 PM

I have Mac 3 port boost controller, right now I'm just going off the waste gate Ill eventually get that hooked up we were having issues while tuning with it.. I chose the coolingmist stage 1 deluxe with the solenoid I'm gonna hook it up independently then Eventually hook it up through the haltech I just want it running for now I mean it does now but not like it should

C. Ludwig 07-22-13 08:59 AM

What issues are you having with the MAC valve?

JWteknix 08-04-13 08:15 AM

It wasn't responding during tuning they weren't sure if I had it hooked up correctly, even tho I followed the directions, so they just disconnected it..
Pushed the car yesterday into a new garage closer to my apartment. It has electricity in it so I can leave the trickle charger on it and not worry about my battery being dead if I don't look at it for a month..
I haven't installed my AI kit yet I've been slacking. Last time I checked my car it was really flooded to the point I couldn't get the plugs dry enough to start it.... Gave up, Friday me and hank stopped by Goopy after work was there til like 10pm picked up a new set of BR10EIX spark plug so maybe today ill see how those go, gotta grind down a socket to install them..
The real reason for going to Goopy was to pick up some crazy for hank. I'm talking cnc machined bridged secondary plates, 1in semi pp press fit housings, rodger mandeville side clearanced, scalloped, lightened and balanced 9.4 compression rotors. We still just need to pick up the 13bre intakes that are being semipp and fabed to fit on a tii engine. Ill takes some pictures later to get u guys jelly. We also picked up some tools and misc to make to build easier and cleaner. We also might be picking up an even bigger turbo for it, then the gt45, T6 90 something millimeter. This is pretty much gonna be our Icon motorsports race car..
Also got tubby's S5 na turbo build under way again he picked up a turbonetics t76 for it instead of the to4s which set us back a bit cuz nothing lined up with the much bigger turbo so it's getting the water pump housing cut and welded, ic pipes, and dp remade up.. Pix up soon

JWteknix 08-25-13 04:55 PM

So I've been trying to get this thing started for a month almost.. Thinking it was just flooded, I had drove it before I went on vacation and parked it no problems so finally found on Thursday I have no spark due to it raining I stopped looking at. Today super nice out pulled the carpet and kickpanel it smelled so bad I almost puked found a dead mouse right next to my ecu, and thought the worst... After removing the mouse and spraying Lysol for the smell, I found my ignition fuse blown replaced the fuse and it didn't blow again.. Couldn't find any signs of damage from the critter I hope I got lucky... The car started right up I put a new set of plugs in I recieved from Goopy. Had to grind down a socket to install them, there 10s and surprising like I think felt a bit nicer then the original trailing plugs. Drove the car around the block and it felt good. hopefully more to come
