BOV help
completing turbo swap as many threaders have posted, I got and aftermarket BOV a 6-7 inch tube with a BOV, it looks easy enough I just have no idea where to connect the line from, on intake manifold or where ever to the BOV itself. will post some pics after work tonight if any one has done this let me know, its all stock turbo intercooler the BOV and tube just replacethe stock one wanted some shift farts and something shinny under the hood all help is well appreciated..
The line connects to a manifold vacuum source. And if I'm guessing right, you probably have a knockoff Greddy type RS valve. If so, it has 2 ports. You connect the vacuum hose to the top port. I believe the lower port is for added noise and effect.
Let me fix that. I meant a Greddy Type S knockoff. I have one too, and it's worked for about 4 years now with no issue.
Looks like this?

I did, however, end up buying an HKS SSQV. I thought it was a legitimate part, but after some extensive research I found it was a knockoff piece as well. After about 2 months of service, the valve seized shut and wouldn't blow off any more.

I use the same BOV that the OP now has. Had leaking issues with it when I left it vented to the atmosphere. Even when I tightened it with the allen wrench. So, I tore it apart, stretched the springs a bit, reinstalled it, and recirculated it to the TID. It isn't really a problem anymore. Very soon I will be removing it and running absolutely no BOV.
Just keep an eye and an ear on it. It may or may not leak on you. There are always solutions to fail-points.

I use solid engine mounts. The only drawback to them is an annoying rattle when accelerating around 1800-2000 rpm. Any little rattle you had before will be severely pronounced in that RPM range. They are cheap though, and they will never break or sag. Either live with the rattles or find them and fix them.
