r13? insulation from home depot.. 1" metal/flashing tape. make sure u peel off the blue plastic on one side (use as outside) and the foil side on the inside... i used a Spare IR heater i had from screen printing
No FD for DGRR=( way too much to do and it finally kicked in after worknig 2 days straight and feeling helpless hahaha

Maybe they changed their manufacturing over the years. I have a gtc 200 in my hands and it is 100% hollow with no core of rib structure. i can flex it by squeezing it. even it it is a FAKE (which i doubt since it was bought from an authorize dealer) its been on an rx8 for years and it hasnt broke, he has not flipped 6 times and no one that drove behind him is dead.

APR is not god. a few months back i was looking at a gtc300 off ebay, seller had it on a track car and it crack in the rear because he was driving faster then the rated MPH it could handle. did cars behind him flip and roll and "apon out" no. it simply cracked. you guys make it seem as if it BREAKS it automatically means its a fly projectile. stop watching so many damn movies. if the deck breaks its breaks, it will only become a projectile if the BRACKET holding the deck fail. which has NEVER been discussed. so how are you already claiming its going to break? unbelievable.

I done my own and im not a tec guru I been using drifting and time attacks my makes good laptimes and never broke off...so keep doing what u know best

Yup. about the right height. will sit between 13"-14" high
roof line to leading edge of spoiler. my crooked eyes tell me thats pretty damn close to the height of the roof line. (begins to worry if cargo box will interfere/hit spoiler)

Sooo i failed to have the 7 ready for another meet (springfest in VA) and between trying to get the car running and "starting up" Bubble tech, it really isnt working well. So The 7 is going to take the back burner, its been draining me of money (like all the damn money pits) that i should be investing in the company.. so with that said, the progress on the 7 will slow down, but hopefully ill have some new parts whipped up for it
sooo to try catching up to date... this is somewhat in order....

I redid the VMIC but i dont think i ever posted pics... Radiator now sits like the HKS style VMIC, reason i did this was to add clearance. now if i bottom out my fans hit rather then the radiator piping. not great, but better. Its probably really hard to see the brackets i made since i powder coated them gloss black....
Gutted the HVAC ducts/plastics....... i already had the heater core in, and i didnt want to disconnect the coolant lines and redo them so i just hacked up all the plastic....Note- i will be making my own "heater" plumbing/unit since im getting rid of the stock dash, with this junk gone i can push the dash up more giving my passenger more leg room, plus i want to relocated my electronics behind/under the dash
This damn spoiler has been a BITCH to sand.. so much sanding to get its shape
Side skirt mock up, Side skirts are currently at the painters, just got cleared, need to pick em up!
Driver side rear fender redone. original one was SOOOOOO off. NOTE:if you attempt your own body kit, do not do it in the winter, on a slanted driveway, and with a car thats slanted (dr side had flat tires) butttt it was a fun learning experience.. next one will be spot on.

Another tip, do not apply decals in the wind. freaking wind blew the decal onto the glass before i could align it. bummer. ill have to recut another one... and probably a bit smaller....
