By far the best build thread I've personally seen. The wing looks SICK along with all the other custom fab!! Hopefully i can see the car in person one day after DGRR we can meet somewheres and cruise maybe. Daily reader of this thread for sure!

Thanks, thats what i was aiming for, i dont like how most spoilers are straight in the back... a few TA cars i love have this style and i think it just looks so much more aggressive!

You consider something like these spoiler risers to support the rear of the box?

Nope, I'm making my own spoiler. spoiler brackets will hold the rear of the cargo box. Trying to make as much of everything as I can. I dont wanna buy parts...

^^ Thanks! its MASSIVE in person and looks ridiculous, but on the car, its not too shabby!

mid day ish update......... i was installing the fenders today and the damn rivnut tool broke, so instead of being an intellegent person and driving 20 minutes exchanging it, i ended up spending 2 hours modifying it to work........... lets just say i ended up having to go to the store to buy a new one........ fml.

THIS is suppose to be ready in 2 weeks. my gawd.

i lied. this ones for you drobs

roof rack is done. I decided to ditch the yakima roof rack and just made my own...... i think it worked out better. allows the box to sit closer to the roof and the rack is less visible...

made the spoiler mounting points... 3/16 steel, welded to trunk frame, notched trunk hatch, yada yada yada. more carbon should be here on sat to make solid CF brackets...

theres more, i jsut cant remember......

oh as if i dont have enough things to do i redid my VMIC setup... i dont think it will be as efficient as my previous set up BUT the radiator hose isnt sitting on the ground either... Previously if you stood back far enough you could see the radiator hose lower then the bumper... made me uneasy.. so i flipped and reversed the rad like the HKS set up...

trying to get stuff done so i havent been taking pics

Theme song:

Baking ****

This is what DGRR does to you...... no time to even get a damn hair cut. makes a nice filter though.. always fun to see what washes out of it at the end of the day........

Oh, and probably the ONLY nice piece of interior in my car..... salvaged the trans tunnel. epoxied the notorious crack from leaning on it. also added "apoxie sculpt" to the back to reinforce it some more.... also used the apoxie sculpt to make new tabs since the original ones broke off........... even though i wont need them since i wont be running the stock dash..... doh.
