water meth install question

Im in the middle of installing a AEM AI kit in my FD and had I am trying to use the stock washer tank. I was looking how I am going to plumb the tank and was wondering if anyone has just tapped into the output of the washer pump. It has a barbed outlet and free flows pretty good. Its not under pressure so should be easy enough to find some fittings to connect to the nylon hose it comes with.

Also, the kit I have has the conductive level sensor in the included tank. Have people been using that by just force threading it in and RTVing it up? Or should I look for a dedicated float switch that is made to be installed through a bulkhead.

I used a washer bottle (from a different car) with mine. Used a spade bit to drill the correct size hole for the sensor, removed the motor and plugged it with a rubber bung which i also drilled to take the 1/4" line the kit came with. Used plumber's silicone to lubricate entry of the hose to bung, bung to bottle and even the grommet on the sensor for ease of fitment, and fool-proof seal. It sounds ghetto but it looks neat and zero leaks.

Not sure where you're at on the install, but this should just about cover it all...
