It's been mentioned about leaner afr's with aux injection but how about low octane?
I've read about people succesfully running high 13's afr at 20+ psi boost with water injection; we also know about the cooling and knock suppression characteristics.
So have anyone tuned for faster burning low octane (87) with water injection? Any reason it's not possible or reccomended? |
Given the knock suppression abilities of water, it seems like it would be a good idea... but I'll wait for the masters to chime in

I would not do it with any octane level of fuel. You are eliminating the knock resistance of the water injection by running such lean afrs.
