had to take a bunch of my stuff to the powder coaters this week so I had to take alot of the ai system off including the nozzle. I looked at it and found it said m10. Will this be enough or should I go ahead and order the m16? Also hurry up and come out with that new device. Can't wait to see it :D

is an M10 nozzle a 10GPH nozzle? if so, i would think that would be more than plenty unless your system is a low pressure system. 16? sheesh, you guys notice any stumble once the AI kicks on? that's alot of water.. :p:

yes an M10 is ten GPH, or as we like to speak of flow in AI-land, 630 cc/minuute.

thanks guys. I'll try it out, since I'm not running straight anything I don't think I need a crazy big one. I may try 100% water one day but really think a 50/50 mix is a great mix of both worlds.

I have no problem with your opinion. i can vouch, i have the coolingmist varicool kit with the 16gph nozzle and it works flawlessly, been running 20psi on my gt40r for a few months now which is right around the hp range that the original thread starter is looking for |

I run 3 M5 nozzles on a 50/50 mix and it works great. I am running 26lbs on this setup. 2 nozzles are located pre IC(which IMO atomizes it the best) and one located after the IC.

So can someone just add an extra nozzle and splitter after the checkvalve to any system that runs one nozzle stock? Where would you go about getting a splitter for this? Thanks for the info radkins, I'm really starting to like the results people are getting with the 50/50 combo.

oh rock on man, thanks for the info. I Just keep adding stuff to the list of things I gotta buy from you guys. I think I may go this route just so that I can put two of these nozzles in the throttle body inlet pipe so that I get even distribution to front and rear rotors.
edit: https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...hmentid=206270 so basically I would just do away with the stainless line and go with two quick disconnects for the clog detector, that T, some nylon hose, and another nozzle. Well actually two nozzles because right now I have an m10 so two m10's would just be over kill so maybe what 2 m6's or m8's? |
i run 2 nozzles and was provided a T fitting that screwed into the aeroquip type fittings for my system. i chose not to use it as it splayed the two lines 180 degrees from each other and they then had to do almost a 180 to get back to where i mounted them in the silicone coupler... about 2 inches apart.
i also didn't like the flow restriction caused by the T, so i replaced the T with a Y that is used w Nitrous systems. i believe it is a NOS from Summit or Jegs. howard |
that makes sense. I was looking at a y that *gulp* hate to say the name here, aquamist sells and it's basically the same thing as the y you are talking about except it is made for the nylon hose and has the quick disconnects.
