aem meth kit issue.

Alright so this problem seems a bit petty compared to others in this section but here it goes. I bought the car from someone who had already put the aem kit on it. It's very well done, and uses the windshield washer fluid reservoir as it's tank. However it's leaking now out of the bottom 90 degree fitting below the reservoir (see pic). I was hoping you guys could tell me where to get a replacement, and how the piece will go back into the reservoir once replaced. Thanks!

You will have to open your mind's creativeness, and just start looking at all the possibilities.
Go to a few auto parts stores and plumbing parts and see what they have that could be adaptive/modified for your use.

Get with the program.

^Uh....yeah.

OP...did you happen to buy the car from a guy in San Antonio? It looks like the car in this thread....

Regardless, it may give you an idea of sources for the components. That pick-up fitting is pretty self-explanatory. With the tank removed it won't be hard to replace. If it is the same car, sounds like he did a little customizing on it, which may be the reason it's leaking. But before replacing try to determine exactly where it's leaking. If it's from the 'push' fitting, sometimes that's just a matter of pulling it out, making sure it's clean and cut straight before pushing it back in. Mine has a similar pickup and it's been leak free since installation. If you do end up replacing it, I'd try to index it so it fits between those large oil cooler lines.

Yep that's mine. It's worked fine up to this point so I never had a need to really see how everything went together. Since I'm unfamiliar with meth injection I figured I'd ask you guys before just removing a whole bunch of stuff if I didn't have to. Thanks for the feedback and will do my best to "get with the program."

If AI is new to you...it's a worthwhile accessory for your car. Forced induction/turbocharging produces a lot of heat... heating the intake charge and hotter combustion chamber temperatures. The methanol/water works well. The properties of Methanol works great at cooling that intake air, while the (distilled) water works great at carrying heat out of the engine with the exhaust and reducing load on the cooling system. It also helps control knock, something rotaries don't tolerate. It also effectively reduces carbon deposits.
A read through some of the stickys in this section will explain it better than I can.
