My mazda fd3s series 6 automatic engine stalled

Hi guys. I am Ben here from malaysia. Before I start going through my car problems I will list down the spec of my car first. Currently its runing series 6 engine with an strengthen automatic tranny and running a single turbo hks T04s with knight sport v mount set up and hks fcon vpro computers. The car was rebuild during 2020 but the mechanic did a **** job from that time the idling of my car was very low it's like 700rpm and it stalled most of the time. So i decided to rebuild the engine again with a different mechanic. Then rebuild was fine very great job but the issue of stalling getting worst. It reasonable the car stalled when cold start. But it also happen when the car is warm and stopping during the lights with or without the aircond switching on. Especially during I park my car even the a/c is off the car will stalled once the gear engage. Would like to know any brother here had face this kind of issue before. I am so frustrated my car keep on stalling hope anyone brothers here can help and gimme some opinion. Thanks

Raised the idle it doesn't work ..... when I engage the gear to R or D it will still stall ...... that's the headache part.

It is an OEM automatic that has been strengthened? Or some sort of aftermarket automatic?

Hi there, it definitely an aftermarket auto transmission with a blue torque converter but i not sure the brand is it JATCO. All the while been using it never gave me such issue until the last rebuild (which scam by the mechanic) only the engine stalling issue happened. Then I send it to another mechanic to rebuild the engine pass few months the car return yesterday and I notice once when I engage to any movable gears the car idle very very low and off and on it stalled when I am stopping especially when I am parking. Its so so weird 😕

Autos are difficult to troubleshoot and even more so when modified. It could be a tuning issue but with an fcon, good luck with that. If you have access to a wideband, watching thr afr my be a clue. Ideally, you would want to set your hot idle to ~1000 for all conditions.

If setting your idle higher didn't help with the stalling then you probably didn't set it high enough. For an auto to stall itself in drive with your foot on the brake and a high(er) idle is a clue of something very specific. I don't know auto transmissions very well but I know enough to know that means something 🤔🤔.

At a minimum it would load the car... brake boosting as they call it sometimes. For it to stall I would think thats a line pressure issue. How to troubleshoot that i have no idea but that's where I would start if this was brought to us.
