Thinking of Buying one

I'm thinking of buying an aem ems for my FD. How easy is it to use? Does it do anything automatically, or do you have to program everything?

My primary reason for getting one of these would be to keep from running lean. Does it increase fuel flow in porportion to air?

If thats all you want to do, don't get it. Only get it if you're willing to take it to a certified AEM tuner and willing to pay.

Stop sending me offers. I'll buy one when I'm good and ready.

I guess there's a lot of unhappy AEM Owners out there.....

It does all the things Power FC does, without having to pay for Datalogit... or go to a specific overpriced tuning shop (Cough)XS Engineering)(Cough)

Aftermarket ECU = Expensive, no matter how you slice it... don't let yourself be fooled into thinking Power FC is a Plug and Play device... it is for ideling... is that what you want your sports car to do is ONLY IDLE !?? If not then you have to tune it... AEM or Power FC or greddy e-manage....

There is definitely more than one shop in the U.S. that can tune the AEM......

Didn't say there wasn't and there's a lot of "Freelance" tuners that can tune on a datalogit, but when I look at the datalogit and the features/software the AEM comes with that was made by the people that made the box, I feel a lot better about my descision....

Nothing against power fc, with an "Authorized tuner" but with the datalogit, it's a hack at best....
