AEM voltage difference?

Gents,

anyone ever had their AEM show a different voltage than what the battery/alternator were at?
AEM will show 13.5v but the battery will show 14.1 while the car is running.
i tested both power wires coming into the ecu and they both show 14.1 as well, but the aem still shows 13.5
i just took my harness out and cleaned it up and took out all the un needed plugs and redid a few grounds and I'm still having the issue.

any thoughts?

Yes that's normal for a Series1 AEM ECU like the 30-1800. There's some circuitry inside that will make it show 0.5-1.0V lower than the actual battery voltage. That got fixed on the newer computers.
