Unboxing the FC S4 PnP Adaptronic Select

6 Attachment(s)
After eagerly awaiting delivery from AUS, the S4 PnP units are finally hitting the streets. To my knowledge there have been very little, if any, vehicles running this outside of test vehicles here in the states yet. Without further delay let's take a look at what $1349 gets you.

Attachment 653101

Adaptronic includes: ECU, USB A to mini cable, approximately 10ft of vacuum hose, USB driver instructions, keychain, and finally stickers.
Attachment 653102

A better shot of the ECU itself.
Attachment 653103

Stock style connections for true PnP install.
Attachment 653104

The business end of the ECU: USB, LED indicators, serial IN/OUT, knock monitoring output, and finally the barb for the internal MAP sensor.
Attachment 653105

More to come once I get the unit in the car!

If you are fast enough you will be the first one outside of the two beta test cars. One of those cars isn't registered for street use, and the other one is suppose to get tuned this weekend. A lot of units have started shipping already. I intend to update and expand on the driver installation sheet very soon too! Thanks for sharing!

Still working with the wideband right now Elliott, no luck getting a valid reading even with 0-5V output. Fan switch took a poo, but all these setbacks aren't going to kill the fun. Currently tuning idle with an LM2 in the meantime.

The Adaptronic software truly is great to work with. This car ran an RTEK 2.1 for about a year and never ran as smoothly as it does after an hour or so on Adaptronic :ylsuper:. Car fires up right away, the first time, every time. Injector staging is very easy to work with. As of right now AFR is nailed down. Only took the car up to about 13psi and called it a night, but not before testing out launch control :)

Nice. Really close to getting one myself. Subscribed to see how well it works out for you. How are you going to use Boost control and any additional outputs inputs that you may require?

Right now we are simply using a MBC for boost control.

The only input I'm concerned with at the current time is WB02, which can be done serially with an Innovate or analog via pin 2E for anything else. Serial support is claimed for other protocols such as AEM, but we had no such luck. More to come on this when I have some time.

I have innovative LC1 right now so it works for me moving to Adaptronic. I don't want to use a MBC etc as I don't want the extra wiring etc. Want to control it with the Adaptronic. I used to use the Apex AVCR but man that was alot of wires. Not required if the ECU can control it.

Have fun playing with the Adaptronic.
