I know I had read about wiring this. Something about using the diagnostic port. Is this the best way, or does it matter. What needs to change in ECU to let it know what wire is being used and which wire do I connect to?

 

In the Eugene software once you change the settings to direct fire it'll show in the wire diagram what pin to use. I'll look when i get home. Which ECU are you running?

I believe you can change it. But why? the diag does nothing for us anyway.

 

Do you mind me asking what software settings you used with regards to the ignition?
After choosing Direct Fire - 2 rotor, there are a lot options and I'm unsure how or if they should be changed
