- Paint and install 99 bumper 99 sideskirts and fit feed sideskirts underneath ( thanks to zerox7 for the inspiration and pure for the pics ) 99 spec tailights (just being lazy to do it) 99 spec fogs ( mail ) Install black carpet Mechanically Service the car with fluid changes install apexi coils ( mail ) Install new cat and Racing Beat muffler ( ordering ) Install 2 gauge A Pillar and boost gauge (forgot the other gauge i bought lol) Fix a weird noise coming from the rear right wheel area. Must Buy / Find - priority Black rx7 license plate front fender turn lamps black carpet with rx7 logo jdm armrest rx7 stainless steel door sill. If theres money lying around Dual oil coolers ( i dont race so my single is doing fine for now ) spirit r interior pieces -red stitch shift boot, shift knob, ebrake boot, steering wheel 2002 spec white gauge cluster ....oh and pay back parents with the money they gave me to purchase the FD LOL....<3 mom This car is a **** money pit. i knew what i was getting myself into but the stuff doesnt seem to end. ah well one step at a time. i want to start paying back my parents so i can legally say i own the damn **** car. lol. All my money is going into repairs and parts =X |
Mine is to finish building the Fd that Mazda should have built in the 1st place. Also hopefully what I'm doing will have a major positive impact on future R&D for our dying beloved engine. ;)

It would be nice if I could create my own ECU, but that might take longer than a year.

I truly hope to get my car wired within the next 2-3 months...after that it's ready to start. From there it's working out the bugs and getting it streetable. Once that happens i'll tear it apart and make it pretty so i can take it to the track ;) I'm gonna try and take babysteps.....eventually ending with somewhere around 700whp and somewhere in the 9's.

Interior:
- cut out roll cage - sound dampening spray (stuff that David Hayes used) - dynomat on top of that - new rear speakers - double din head unit with GPS built in - get rid of A-Pillar gauges - replace stock oil and water gauges with PLX guages (will also display boost, egt, and afr at the same time, oh yeah) - if there are any vibrations left after all of the sound dampening, get rid of them too haha Exterior: - repair my cwest front end - repair poorly rolled front fenders and mold on panspeed front flares - get some skirts - new tint (it has this old purplish tint, eww) Power: - get rid of PFS large stock mount IC, and put on new FMIC - rebuild greddy t78 - relocate meth pump and tank to engine bay instead of pump under gas tank and meth tank on the inside of the car - rewire the Aeromotive Tsunami fuel pump, add a walbro, (wired separately with their own relays) - new ground wires - replace 8" long borla resonator with a longer one to change sound and quiet the car down. |
Install my new larger fmic and fab larger piping
Install my new throttle body Add another 044 pump Install Xcessive LIM with 2 more 1680's Upgrade Axles Call Enzo and get tuned on E85 |
Save enough cash to hopefully find a clean, stockish FD!!
