Wrap Downpipe while on car?
Wrap Downpipe while on car?
I am just wondering if it is possible to wrap the downpipe while its in the car? The previous owner didnt and I am too lazy to pull it to wrap it.
Also what should I use to wrap the exhaust side of the turbo its a t78. And I have seen those huge blanket things but they are like 300bux and I dont think that they are worth that much.

i wrapped scrub's downpipe while it was on the car... it wasn't easy and i got a few bloody knuckles.
i would reccomend using a screw clamp around the wrapping about every 4-6 inches you wrap. it makes it much easier so that you don't have to worry about messing up and starting all over...

I wraped my downpipe mainly because it sounded like a cricket lived in there(actually more of a "tinking" noise) and the wrap took care of it.
