WoW!! No More Gear Grinding!!!
 

I thought my 2nd gear syncro was fucked up because everytime I shifted from 1st to 2nd it would grind even though I put in new tranny fluid already. But tonight I discovered something new. It was my technique that made it grind! I was cruising around and the 2nd gear was pissing me off, all of a sudden I changed my shifting habit from touching the shift knob on the top with my palm (horizontal position), to grabbing the body of the shift knob with my four fingers (vertical). And it didnt grind! The shift was smooth as hell. 1st to 2nd is never the same anymore! I can finally shift mad quick yo!

Yup. Thats how I shift. If I force it really REALLY fast it will grind. If I use a gentle yet forceful push on it the way you described, its as smooth as butter. Also the mobil 1 in the tranny made a real big difference(less noise and friction).
