It took some pulling of teeth to have those #'s gathered too. I think they have them available now, but much research had to go into it all. Mazda took one week to get back to me for all those figures.

I thought it was a total of about 13,000 '93s through '95s were imported? I can't find my reference now, but as of 18 months ago, there were less than 7,000 still registered in the US.

of the 13,000 fd's that we imported, is that ONLY the united states? or does that include canada? if not does anyone know how many were brought into canada on top of how many were brought to the US?

In March of 2002 I was talking with Cameron Worth (Pettit Racing) and he told me that a US wide check of vehicle registrations indicated 3300 FD's were still registered. This means that 3300 cars were still being used for the road. Additional unregistered cars would also exist (track/race cars etc.). Not sure how you would count every one.
