Wobbly/loose stock seats - common causes/fixes?

Noticing my driver's seat has developed a bit of mild play or wobbling front to back as you sit down. Not shocking for a 30yo stock seat, but I'm wondering if anyone has previously ID'd common causes or fixes over the years. I searched and didn't find anything. When I last had it out of the car, I wasn't able to pinpoint a culprit piece.

To be clear, it is securely torqued down to the chassis mounts.

Not that I have this issue, but the 1st thing that occurs to me is the detent slots or the pin on the lever that you adjust the seat with may be worn.

Never heard of this issue.... but not much to wear except the rail system and the seat- back pivot system

^That's the 1st thing I'd check, and if you ever had the seats reupholstered at some point, I'd check the bolts that secure the seat rails to the seat bottoms as well - those have to come off when doing the job, and it's possible they may be loose.

That actually makes the most sense to me.
