but would it be better than having a stock midpipe there? im getting tuned soon and i hear that cat is really restrictive.

i only drive it on the weekends so i can live with the noise.

Sure. I went for an un-resonated midpipe like that, sounds awesome imo

Yes it be a lot better and less restrictive.

Just to give you an example. I have a resonated midpipe with a Apexi N1 muffler. I can't even drive one block without getting a headache.

yes it will work, yes it will be better than the stock midpipe, and yes if you have a canister type muffler you will get a headache and the fumes will irritate your eyes and nose.

screw that... After I went single, I kept my resonated mp with my RB duals and I can barely stand the slight highway drone that the car now experiences.

I'm running an HKS hi-power silent catback, with a midpipe is not really all that loud unless you're flooring it... She passes the track DB tests etc (just )

In my experience, the midpipe sold by rx7store.net is a bit too short.

I purchased it and installed it on my car when I was in England, I was using an Apexi N1 Dual for my cat-back. My catback did not fully clear my rear bumper with the midpipe (didn't have that problem with my hi-flow cat) and I ended up burning off all my paint just above the exhaust tips.

This is a Megan Racing mid-pipe, unless Jason has switched his suppliers.
