Wierd electrical problems

Not sure if this should be in a third gen specific section, but I'm having a wierd problem with my head unit for my car. Its an aftermarket exploid (I think thats the name) unit, but I think everything else is stock as far as the audio setup is concerned. Now the wierd part is, I stalled the car and now the unit won't power up. I was wondering if these units have a secruity feature that locks it or something. Also, the battery had power and everything but it just doesn't power up anymore. If anyone knows what could be the problem, the help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Josh

It sounds like you have blown a fuse. I would suggest that you have a good look at the wiring again, you have probably shorted the unit out in some way. The most common cause for this is the earth wire not being connected properly.
Good luck.

Thanks, I'll take a look, its just that I've never seen a fuse go on a stall before.

Thanks,
Josh
