Wideband with narrowband gauge

I recently purchased an innovatemotorsports LC-1 wideband kit from a forum member. I was initially planning on just using a datalogit to moitor my A/F ratios but have since changed my mind and I want to have a gauge in the car also.

I am looking at getting some Defi D-gauges for my water and oil temps. I was thinking about hooking up a d-gauge a/f meter to the narrowband output, wishing to stay with the D-gauge mostly for asthetic purposes. Does anyone know if this is a very accurate setup?

Hyperite did it but his wideband can't output a narrowband and wideband signal simutaneously.

The Defi A/F guage should work off the LC-1 Narrow band O2 sensor output without reprogramming. I don't know how accurate it would be though. If it's not accurate, the LC-1 output could be reprogrammed for more accuracy as long as the A/F guage input is linear which is likely. You might also check out the XD-1 guage also from Innovative. It can have a chrome bezel with black background that looks very nice. The analog lights up amber and all the LED's can be independently programmed to whatever colors you want. It can be used to calibrate the LC-1 without grounding the black wire on the LC-1 and can record minimum and maximum AFR values. It would be more accurate and won't use up one of your LC-1's outputs. Innovative needs to make a whole line of guages to match it though ;) I bought a VDO boost guage and painted the bezel with some paint that looked chrome on the cap but it ended up mettallic flake silver, almost exactly the same color as my car. Both guages look nice but still don't match. It's good enough for me though.

Anyone else with any input?
