Why is the light on ????

ok... so the coolant light is on but is not beeping coolant is full temps are in norm...so whats wrong.... same thing with the oil pressure light... oil is at a normal lvl.... is it a sensor ?

Both your coolant and your oil lights are on? But there's no buzzing? Are any other indicator lights on, such as the brake light or ABS?

Low battery voltage I bet.

Does it go away if you rev the engine up?

low battery how??? i did have to jump it the other day and the charge light is on.... but how dose it affect the oil and coolant lights ???

Aren't these syptoms of a failing alternator?

Yes indeed. Go get your alternator and battery tested at Advance Auto or Autozone or wherever they do that locally.

yea, most likely alternator/battery problem.

When my charge light was on after draining my battery (left the hatch open for many days and the light was on), the oil and coolant lights were glowing as well, slightly dim though. :shocking:

Not sure why it does this, but I bet fixing your alternator/battery voltage will fix the problem. :) Charging my Dry cell battery made them go away.

its a sign of low voltage, mainly due to a bad alternator.

happens on all cars when the alternator is getting ready to die, battery alone cant support the computer and the engine and all the sensors so the sensors start bugging out from having a bad voltage supply.

great guys this fits perfectly in whats going on with the 7.... wish i new this before i did that coolant flush lol cant hurt tho... and lol... i did leave my hatch open for a couple days too. i also do have the relocated battery. its a smaller battery so that could just add to the problem... ill have them both check out... thx again guys
