Looks like he has a blacklight in the engine bay. It wouldn't be so riceish if he didn't use so much damn chrome. The blacklight really is too much. At least he is "taking care" of it.

 

Yeah the light could go...but I think the polished look is nice, not ricey at all.

 

I agree.. nice car... and it has a nice stance to it..

 

I dont really like the polished look on it. And yeah the light should really go... But it looks real clean and well cared for.

 

Is the red one with the CF hood TTT's?

 

Does anyone know what kind of side skirts these are?

 

The red FD with the CF hood and the Enkie Aegis on the far right looks very familiar it looks like it is one of the feature car in Superstreet awhile back ago an owner who works at Apex Integration. Oh yeah the red FD has a very nice engine bay but he gotta lose that lights though.

 

Damn, I love the polished piping and extension manifold and strut bar and.....

The back light on the other hand is one of the cheesiest things I have ever seen. Definitely gotta go.

 

it could be worst, biggest thing i have against it is the EL sheet (neon sheets) PETTIT cutout. Thats way over the edge

 

I like it! maybe a TAD too much...but it looks nice, and if he shows it, all that stuff helps in the judging.....but why on Earth didn't he go ahead and put like Aeroquip stainless steel hoses and fittings on, to just make it even better looking? Now THAT would have been the ultimate ****!

 

Awesome car..the aluminum everywhere is awesome...also more reliable than plastic..Plastic is ricey not aluminum...think of how much **** from Japan that is made from cheap looking black plastic.HAHA...POLISHED LOOK IS FAR FROM RICE...THE PLASTIC STICKERS ON YOUR CAR ARE RICE....

 

those might be the apexi ones i think... someone was selling them on thepartstrader.com not long ago..

 

I just saw that link on the Supra Forum yesterday and those cars are definitely sweet. I love the engine pics of that RX-7.

 

Yeah I think those were the apexi skirts too... dclin was selling a set on the partstrader, but I think he has since sold them.. Damn nice side skirts, and he said they fit about perfect too.

 

Then engine bay is nice and shiney, but i do agree the backlight in the engine bay is a little too much.

The Apexi side skirts were super - OEM class fit and just plain looks nice. Looking at that VR, I regret selling it! Damn, have to get these damn FEED parts ordered before I get too depressed, hehe.

 

The red one with the CF hood looks like a guy I met out of the KC area. When I was up there last for an KCMR2 club meet. It has been awhile but if It is the same guy the car is super nice and has Apex'i everything under the hood.

 

The car with the polished engine belongs to Art from here in KC. He's know as RTS3GEN on the forum. The car with the CF hood belongs to Jeff aka RacerXXV, also from KC. Art has apparently spent a LOT of time polishing the engine bay and it looks really great in person. I belive the light is just for when he's showing the car. Jeff's car is the Apexi car so those of you who guessed the kit have good eye's. They are both great cars owned by a couple of great guys.

 

I just saw his car yesterday at the caves. It is a hella nice: FEED headlight cover, 99 front and rear spoiler. I'll get some pics up soon of his car. I hear he's getting the Scoot hood soon. It is nice!

 

I am pretty sure I saw the chromed up car @ STL2K a year or so ago.

 

What kind of body kit is on the CF hood one? That kit looks awesome.
