Check out the dyno on this site, supposedly from an rx-7? The torque number seems way out of line. Someone please enlighten me.

it is waaaaaaaaaay out of line. you notice how the torque is lower than the horsepower before 5252, then higher than hp after? that is completely opposite of how it should read.

 

How do you know which is which?

 

look at the numbers - looks like 666 hp, 640 tq. One line is higher than the other. So I think yodaddy read it wrong, no offense. Does seem pretty amazing though, I don't buy it.

 

Max... if that dyno sheet isn't real oh well. I happen to have dealt with the owner of that site... and Pat aka widebody2 is a good guy. I bought my turbo kit from him and it was worth every cent. haven't had a single problem.. he does good business and he's legit. Just want to make sure this chart isn't tarnishing his name in anyway... he's helped me out quite a bit (many hours on the phone dealing with my stupid questions) - so if anybody is interested in getting a kit from there.. then you have my guarantee that it's good product. I'm sure if you ask him about the chart he'll tell you =P I'll give him a call tomrrow and ask personally.

 

Wow then I'm very impressed with that dyno sheet, if that guy's legit then good going to him.

 

These numbers are insane, someone explain how they are/arent possible!!! If its for real I want it! It's a bit unbelievable however...

 

why is 666hp 'so hard to believe' its a ported motor with 30psi on race gas with a turbo
the size of SR motorsports kkk stage2 (which made 600 something on race gas)...!?! this is
no t04s this is a pretty large turbo we're talking about here! i will say however that the
640 torque number seems a little high.... my $.02

Don't buy **** from Patrick Kenney!!!!!
That guy is not legit. He is a peice of ****! I bought my kit for him also. You can buy that same set-up for almost half the cost on ebay. After I received what I had ordered from him, the DP looked like it was made by a 2-year old child, the turbo housing was not the right application for our cars and he said he has the EXACT sam kit on his car too. I gave him about 4 months or so to make it better. Sent him the DP and Housing (at my cost) and he never returned my emails.
I posted this gut in the Good guy/Bad guy section and since then he has not been active on this site.

dhahlan...I'm glad to hear that someone has had an honest transaction from him because I know of 2-other people on this forum that have been ripped off from him too. If you're looking to go single and save some money in the process, I'd go to ebay and order the exact same parts (even though his parts are the cheapest around) from the same sources he gets them from. That way you would'nt have to worry about getting ripped off and you'll save lots of money too.

true, i probly did read it wrong, just made an assumption before i saw it so i stuck with that instead of looking at it objectively.

I hope I did'nt "offend" and of you. I was very patient and understanding with this guy. And I'm glad to see that other people have done good business with this guy. Just try and understand that I was RIPPED OFF 1800 bucks and I'm pissed off about it. I feel that it's my obligation to warn all of you of this in case it happens again.

And for the record...That dyno sheet is not from his car or any turbo kit he sells. It is his freinds car. Dan

 

And yes, yes was very helpful with everything even after I had problems with his kit. He promised he would make it better and to send the stuff back to him. I did! since then he has not replied one time to my emails. I bought the kit in January.

I've moved on and I'm finished with the single install now. Oh well, he needs the money more than I do anyway. He's about what? 27? 28-years old? He still lives with his Mommy. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
