where does this wire go? - engine bay
 

Hey guys i recently noticed a wire broken away in my engine bay. Its black with a red stripe. The only thing that doesnt seem to be working is the oil pressure gauge. Does it go to the oil pressure sensor? If not where does it go?


Please see picture below. Ive put it in connector block for now.

Well.... Did you look at the oil pressure sensor to see if a wire is attached? That is where I would start.

no its not attacted a wire has broken off.

But the one in the photo above isnt long enough/wont reach the OPS.

I didnt want to connect the two put until i was sure

what color is the wire that was broken off ??? is there a piece still there ??
i am not sure , out of my head , but the wire to the oil pressure sensor , is either black/red or gray/red
so it does sound like it could be it
