hahaha ultimate weight reduction.

I find it funny how people drive these insanely small tight cars and they're like 6'3 220lbs lol

The car is super tight for me and im only 5'9 165.

MazdaSpeedDan 07-27-12 08:01 PM

When I first got in I was like, how the hell do you move the steering wheel? I even texted the guy I had just bought it from like how he heck do I move it? He was like you cant. :(

Time for a diet plan, not a build thread ;)

But yes having bucket seats makes my situation worse. When i had the R1 seats, it was easy to get in and out of.

Donovan 07-27-12 09:11 PM

That guy in the driver's seat is only 60 inches tall..........

NVMYRX-7 07-27-12 09:24 PM

Now that if funny
The hardest part is getting in and out WITHOUT touching the bolster :scared:!

limepro 07-27-12 09:32 PM

I am a fatass and make it work, when you love something it doesn't bother you lol.

It's not all fat dude, it is called muscle.

Just because I weigh a lot does not mean I need to loose weight.

Agreed. I'm 6'6" 285lbs. When you want to drive your dream car, you fold yourself in and drive it!

Lebron James is 260 and he's about 6'9. THAT'S muscle.

Not saying you have none but for your height id say you have no less than 14% bf.

I applaud you for even owning an fd though. You must have a hard ass time getting in and out lol.

Reno_NVFD 07-27-12 10:24 PM

Anyone of the taller people want to post a vid of what they look like getting in the car. Im 6ft and im having a hard time imagining anyone taller fitting in there

It is easy to get in and out. Just turn and stand up. To get in it is just sit and turn.

I have no idea what my BF% is but I am definately not fat. I don't have a gut but no six pack either:lol:.

1QWIK7 07-27-12 10:33 PM

See that's why I'm glad I was never a big boy. Sure its cool to be strong and shit but nowadays girls like the chiseled 6 pack athletic type and since I play sports I wanna keep my speed too.

I still find myself using the steering wheel to pull my ass out of the car. Or I do a Jeremy Clarkson and just crawl out lol.

Idk how he fit his huge 6'5 ass in an exige!!

Kiku 07-27-12 10:37 PM

lol 5'5 105lbs :D /asian life.

Also, OP that picture is pure awesome.

Truer words have never been said. Im 6'3 and 190. When I first contacted the seller for my car, I asked if I would fit. He said something along the lines of "you might have a hard time" but I didn't care.

This is going to be an EPIC image, if not already!

ZE Power MX6 07-28-12 02:26 AM

I'm 5'7 145lbs and I pull the seat back to get in and out, I still think an S2k or Miata is even harder to get in and out tho.

OP, I know how you feel, but you'll quickly forget everything once she's back together and working right.

The s2000 and mx5 are much easier to get in and out of.

From my experience no, but everyone has different opinion.

 I just got that skeleton at Costco. GF bought it actually. I wish I would have taken a better picture but it's pretty awesome anyway.

limepro 07-28-12 05:39 PM

the crossfire is a terrible car to get into and if you are over 5'10 your knees hit a bar that is under the dash.

Prôdigy2nd 07-29-12 01:30 AM

Funny... Cause I'm 6'3" 185lbs, and 13-14 ish bf... and the only car I've ever gotten into put the seat all the way back, stretched my legs out, and could not touch the pedals was a vert crossfire....

Oh and I'm in a JDM FD.... I hear they are harder to get in/out of... I have a 'move' I do to get in with the stock steering wheel... Lol

Donovan 07-29-12 12:22 PM

I'm 5'10 and I feel very comfortable in the cockpit with everything around me, but I do have a hard time getting in and out. The door seems to be very forward so you are sitting about 1/2 way up the middle of the door. Your legs are a ways past the front edge of the door so you have to tuck your legs in a bit and swivel out. Then of course somehow get yourself vertical. I usually let the seat go all the way back first then hop out. Makes it easier to get in too then adjust the seat forward back to where you like it.

MOBEONER 08-02-12 07:53 AM

John fits just fine in his FD..
