what does a bare shell sell for?

Im thinking about taking all the parts off my car and selling the shell and a few parts and keeping the parts for spares. Now would anybody know about what a bare shell sells for. 93 touring with 140k on the clean title?. Im picking up a 94 r1 instead. Hate the sunroof.

bare shell to me has no wiring, no suspension, no engine or drivetrain, missing fenders and misc body panels.

a stripped shell usually sells for $1000-1500 with a title, less without. i have even seen them sit in the for sale section for quite some time like that at that price range. it's a big pain in the *** to piece a car back together that is as obscure as the FD, may as well be a 1960's japanese car(harder to find parts for but much simpler to reassemble).

a rolling complete shell on the other hand only short engine and transmission usually goes for $3500-6000.

My shell was complete. Had everything only missing engine trans and misc. stuff that comes off when taking engine and trans out. My shell was 4k with only 80k miles. I'd say I got a deal on it because I was expecting 5-6k.

Yep that's what I call a bare shell and I sell them for 1k if the title is clean, the paint is avg and there are no big dents or rust. I usually include the doors with class and hatch if the paint is good but the price would be $1500 plus. I'll hang onto them for months if they don't sell because just one door is worth 400 or so when parted out and you also never know when you'll need a part for one of your own cars.
