What are the diff. between 93 and 95?

Hi, I'm a newbie to rx-7 and i'm wondering what are the different between the 93, 94, and 95? They all look the same on the outside...I'm thinking of getting one but the 95 are too much for me...

the amount of info about this same exact topic in previous threads is FAR greater than what you will get in this one thread.

My helpful answer:
I own a 93 and I hear that they fixed a lot of stuff in 94 all the time. However, I don't think there is a big difference in the amount of problems people have with the car between the two model years. If it leaves you some extra money for maintenance and repairs, get a 93.

ok...ill pitch in my dhare of help.

-the model name "R1" in 93 changed to "R2" in 94/95.
-93 R1s had stiffer springs/shocks, and a larger rear anti-roll bar than the 94/95 R2s
-93s did not have a passenger airbag
-peeling interior trim pieces was a common problem for 93s. they solved this by using a different meterial in the 94/95s interior trim.
-94/95s had a differnt looking tachometer (no lines between 500 RPM markings)
-touring became PEG in 94/95
-more noise insulation and weight in 94/95 doors. 93 models had lighter doors and sound different when you shut them
-no yellow (CYM) available in 94/95
-no white (pearly white or chaste white) available in 93
-94s and 95s were generally the same. only difference to my knowledge was the AC (they changed the AC system in 95).

i probably missed some other stuff, but this is what i know off the top of my head.

They changed some of the gaskets from paper to metal in 94. Also no EGR valve on 95s.

93 AC uses R12
some 94 and the 95 AC use the non CFC stuff.

94/95 have a passenger side air bag.
