went non sequential. vaccum=weird

When I gave rx7 store my motor to get rebuilt and ported I also had them convert the turbos to non sequential for me and iam going to be running a PFC. they also routed all the vaccum lines for me but.... instead of running the normal non sequential diagram that iam used to seeing a few things were different such as the pressure regulator control solenoid is still in place. I have never seen a non sequential diagram that looks like this. that and right now iam having problems with the engine getting to much fuel and flooding all the time. I think this might be connected.

well my main concern is how instead of just running a line from the FRP to the LIM it runs through that solenoid. all the other solenoids are out and every single other diagram I have seen has no solenoids there. Do I really need this or what??

obviousboy 08-18-04 12:56 PM

nahhh i dont run it....

can you think of any reason why they would want to leave that in their and not take it out

obviousboy 08-18-04 01:05 PM

no clue...call them....you paid for it :)
whats up with your vacuum?

The FPR solenoid is not needed and never was needed. Another Mazda screw up or helping a friend/relative make money.

If it fails in the non energized position, no problem.
Otherwise fuel pressure at idle will be a little higher, but will not increase as boost goes up.

Why they left it in, a moment of stupidity or forgetfulness!

Well right now when I start it up it runs incredibly rich and it wont hold a idle unless I stay on the gas and then when I shut it off it will just flood the engine. so Iam thinking that that little solenoid could be part of the problem... maybe uping the fuel pressure or something.

Injector stuck open?
