Weird idle problem

OK, so I went through the huge pain in the *** of replacing my spark plugs and wires today.. Everything works, it makes good power and all..

But my idle is messed up. It pulsates from about 1000rpm-1500rpm and sometimes up to 2000rpm (about every second or so)

I THINK I got all the hoses and wires and everything..What could be causing this problem?

It's not a huge problem..just weird, and I'd like to figure it out. No check engine light or anything.

BTW: Isn't there supposed to be a gasket between the intake elbow and the throttle body?

Question Idle?

I am sure there is an "O" ring around the edge of the elbow on mine. Also, did you happen to disconnect the cruise control linkage. When I put my engine in I routed it the wrong way to the throttle mechanism and a cable was pushing on it making my Idle high like yours? Just a thought.
