I am very interested to know where the VIN located on JDM FD3S.
I know one of them is under the hood, Top ledge of the dash panel (firewall).
Also I know the sticker when door opening.

Do you know other imprinted VIN on chases?

As a self proclaimed expert on JDM FD's, I could answer your question.......but I won't because I suspect your motive for learning of the other VIN locations is not one born of innocent curiosity.

 

It is stamped onto every factory part, big and small
:P

 

My RX7 swapped and the firewall cut(where the VIN located). So I will have some problems with tax if I will not find other location of imprinted VIN on chases.

If your car is a half-cut welded on... you have much bigger problems than tax.

Resurrecting an old thread! Could someone tell me the VIN locations on a JDM FD3S?

Short story is I'm in the military stationed in the UK and I own an FD3S. I want to verify all its VIN numbers before I attempt to import to the US!

Picture attached for attention.

 

Regarding JDM, what I know is the sticker in the door opening; the stamped number on the firewall and the little plaque above the power brake chamber. The plaque is only held on by small machine screws and so easily removed.


The USDM versions have the dash plaque. I do not know about the European or UK versions.
