Two problems with my FD

My problems are two weird ones. First one is that my rev meter shows all the time 1000rpm too much. No matter if it's cold or warm engine. Have anyone had the same kind of problems?
The second one is that when I changed my ecu with a Apexi PowerFC ecu there came a warning light to me. It's the "heat" sign with some kind of a exhaust pipe in the warning light. This one will not disappear. Only if you accelerate pretty hard it will disappear for a short period of time.

Any help or info is really welcome!

Thanks in advance.

1. huh? It's at 1k when you're driving it? it's probably set to 1k in the pfc settings under "idle".

i think the PFC is reading the exhaust gas temp sensor under the passenger seat, thats where the cat sits and can get really hot. So if the sensor is shot, it may be reporting overtemp from there.

The PFC has detected an error. Read the manual and figure out how to do the diagnostics.

I have changed the motor oils, but still no difference. The rpm problem is so that if the real rpm reading is 5000 the dashboard is showing a bit over 6000rpm. The pfc is showing the correct numbers.
I haven't had time to check the sensor yet, but hopefully next week I'm able to digg into it.
