well i was coming home from work, the car drove fine but then i had to downshift from forth to second and it wouldn't go into gear until i forced it. i got to a light and it wouldn't let me go into first until i shut the car off, put it in first and go. the clutch feels find, i just had a flywheel put in at Pfs supercars 2 weeks ago. only 800 miles since then. When the car is on, it grinds bad putting it into fifth and reverse. What can it be??? Help!!

Does it shift ok with the engine off?

If so, it's your clutch.

 

its shifts fine when the car is off so is it the clutch?

 

Yes. Something in the clutch system.
