Jason, did you bounce on the ISIS system, because of it not having enough inputs? I'll let him confirm this, but I think Jason wasn't really satisfied with the quality of the ISIS system and the control boxes or whatever the hell they're called were bigger then he expected. Troux, It looks like you did that relocation in the same type of "garage" I did mine ;) |
Sucks, but making it work.

I've attached photos of the ISIS next to my iPhone.. also a photo of the Motec PDM installed on a bike (it's the unit with the 3 autosport plugs [round ones]). |
Wow! I've been reading about MoTec's PDM systems, they are amazing.
Other than ISIS & MoTec, is there anybody else that manufactures a similar product. I'm still trying to figure out each imput and output it seems like you would need 2 of the PDM30's to run a full trim street car (radios, navigation, subs, etc.) I'm nit huge on stereos, but I do like the idea of having options. But this would totally change a loom job. Jason, are you going with the MoTec? |

The PDM32 system is not enough to wire a complete FD chassis.. you would need at least two units. The ISIS "3 cell" kit is more than enough to wire in the complete FD chassis (factory alarm included). I'd like to see wireless and LCD/monitor (watch this for demo: http://www.isispower.com/V8_interview.php) like the ISIS unit but geezz that'll surely be a $20k+ system right? It doesn't change it - it makes it easier! |

Airbag shit out:
http://myweb.usf.edu/~cbmurphe/ABS%20Stuff.jpg Fan relays over oil cooler (note that the top harness is the SRS, which is now removed): http://myweb.usf.edu/~cbmurphe/Photo-0169.jpg Again, the top harness and crash sensor are now gone, but here's the new, smaller harness tcked neatly away behind the front bumper: http://myweb.usf.edu/~cbmurphe/Photo-0171.jpg Here are where the two light relays are hidden. I've since cleaned up the wires here, don't worry: http://myweb.usf.edu/~cbmurphe/Photo-0172.jpg Repost of the battery box: http://myweb.usf.edu/~cbmurphe/Battery%20Bin.jpg Just moves my fan relays in the same spot! no oil cooler tho... for the body harness.. did u just eliminate and move wires or did u extend the harness aswell? |

Attached is my early-2000's solution to centrally relocating ALL fuses and relays at one convenient location. BTW, the WeatherPak connector is for the battery's tickle-charger.
As much as I would LOVE a PDM15 / 30, there is isn't enough functionality added to my setup to offset the significant expen$$$e (IMO). That said, please let me know if anyone sees a used one for a sweet deal! :drool1: |
Hey Scrub,
Were you able to get back to my PM to you? |
Sorry about that buddy... I still have it in my inbox, but you asked for a lot of info and I haven't had a chance reply to it in full yet. I'll try to sit down later tonight or tomorrow and knock it out :)

It's been so long I honestly can't remember, but I did a google search for PC680 mount and found this..... link
You can probably find one cheaper if you do a more in depth search. |

I'm seriously considering going with the Motec PDM30. I wonder what kind of issues I might run into running a PFC?
