Thats right! They were much bigger than I expected! The hardware itself isn't big - just the plastic encasing.

I've attached photos of the ISIS next to my iPhone.. also a photo of the Motec PDM installed on a bike (it's the unit with the 3 autosport plugs [round ones]).

Wow! I've been reading about MoTec's PDM systems, they are amazing.

Other than ISIS & MoTec, is there anybody else that manufactures a similar product.

I'm still trying to figure out each imput and output it seems like you would
need 2 of the PDM30's to run a full trim street car (radios,navigation, subs, etc.)

I'm nit huge on stereos, but I do like the idea of having options.

But this would totally change a loom job.

Jason, are you going with the MoTec?

The motec unit is as cheap as they come on this one. Life Racing's unit is still about $6k (for a small one). The PDM32 system is not enough to wire a complete FD chassis.. you would need at least two units.

The ISIS "3 cell" kit is more than enough to wire in the complete FD chassis (factory alarm included). I'd like to see wireless and LCD/monitor (watch this for demo: http://www.isispower.com/V8_interview.php) like the ISIS unit but geezz that'll surely be a $20k+ system right?

Thats dopeeeee! do u have a 93 or 94? i just took my airbag sensors off too (aftermarket steering wheel, no pass airbag <<<93) but gotta take the other wires out..

Just moves my fan relays in the same spot! no oil cooler tho...

for the body harness.. did u just eliminate and move wires or did u extend the harness aswell?

I have a '94. I completely unwrapped the front harness, eliminated wires (What a process. Lots of reading the diagrams.), then rewrapped it in front of the front bumper support. Only a couple wires had to be cut and resoldered, most could be disconnected and rerouted, but none had to be extended. Only the fuse box relocation required extension, and for those I went up at least a gauge.

Attached is my early-2000's solution to centrally relocating ALL fuses and relays at one convenient location. BTW, the WeatherPak connector is for the battery's tickle-charger.

As much as I would LOVE a PDM15 / 30, there is isn't enough functionality added to my setup to offset the significant expen$$$e (IMO). That said, please let me know if anyone sees a used one for a sweet deal! :drool1:

I'm seriously considering going with the Motec PDM30. I wonder what kind of issues I might run into running a PFC?

I have a basic wire diagram in Excel if you need it for a MoTeC PDM30. I am still tweaking it and need to input the wire lengths once I get my FD back.
