Also keep in mind ppl may change the rev limiter on their PFC etc, which will affect max rpm.
If you search, you'll find the individual gear ratios for the tranny, and you can use them to calculate max theoretical speed in gear based on tire & wheel size, rpm, etc etc. ~Ramy |
hmm... I've gotten it to 144 in 4th, but I could only get to 152 in 5th. I'm sure you could +/- a few mph, but I wonder why the speedo would read faster in 4th and slower in 5th than the times listed in the article? I'd figure I'd be higher or lower in both departments.

airtemp 65 deg
barometric pressure 29.38 relative humidity 55% elevation above reference 0 headwind or tailwind 0 roadgrade 0 all this comes in to play so not saying you didnt run faster than that. |
oh yea stock horsepower on that 164 topspeed
any yes i was at a local track and watched a stock 94 do 13.4 in 1/4 (just tires) |

The manual list the gear ratios and you could find your tire static radius. The rest is simple math. It would be a learning experience. |
At 7,500rpms in each gear. US Automatics have a 3.90 Final Drive, US Manuals have a 4.10, JDM have a 4.30.
F/D 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 3.90 39mph 68mph 98mph 137mph 191mph 4.10 37mph 65mph 94mph 131mph 182mph 4.30 36mph 62mph 89mph 124mph 173mph F/D (Final Drive) |

Your rev limiter shouldn't be considered your redline, it should just be for accidental mis-shifts and over revs.
