TONS of Pics of my FD

Hey guys,
I had the car detailed on my B-Day a while ago, and decided I'd post the pictures of it before it's down for a while. I have a lot of work ahead of me, so we might as well all relish in its beauty ;)

Enjoy

nice but looks like the detailer used cheap conditioner for the interior... like Armor All...

purerx7 05-28-06 05:21 PM

damn nice clean fd! Lol who would of thought the trucks engine would of went before the fd's.

SiKoPaThX 05-28-06 05:51 PM

Well, the FD's engine went first. Just turns out the previous owner of the truck never changed the oil. The truck has 36,500 miles *sigh*

RX7 RAGE 05-28-06 05:53 PM

nice, didn't you have mesh wheels before?

yuichiror 05-28-06 06:17 PM

Great lookin' car dude!

What do you use?

RE-Amemiya 05-28-06 06:59 PM

Nice car...have you thought about adding side skirts and a rear bumper to complement the gorgeous '99 spec front?

it's just one of things you should splurge on... after an oil change i lather down the dash with cream of tiger penis conditioner.

but really all i've ever heard of people using are the products in autozone... it wears off or gets all dusty in a week anyways

Spooln7 05-28-06 07:33 PM

Great looking 7.

Ya I still have them. They're in my sig. I just need to get tires for the front ones. I actually like the way the car drived better with the stock wheels, but it just looks so damn good lowered on my Racing Harts :D

Definitely not a rear bumper, but I'm considering perhaps FEED sideskirts and Adjustable wing, and the old RE Diffuser.

That's mild for the exterior though to me.

In 2-5 years, I'm going wild on the entire car. For now, it will stay mostly as is til I graduate college. Just a little love here and there :)

1QWIK7 05-28-06 10:41 PM

Looks damn awesome. Did you get a new paintjob?

GoodfellaFD3S 05-29-06 12:41 AM

They did a really good job detailing it, the car looks clean as hell, congrats :).

A few questions: Is that a stock shift knob? Also, why do you have a vented cap on the rad fill neck?

Someone asked about an appropriate cleaner for the interior, instead of armor all. I use Meguiar's Natural Shine Rubber and Vinyl Protectant. Really works amazingly well.

Ya, that's the stock shift knob when the leather gets taken off of it. I got the car that way. It's ugly, but it feels nice.

Is the cap on the fill neck a no-no?

rx7what 05-29-06 01:43 AM

The kind of cap you have on seams to seal better than the other kind. But only for about a year then you have to replace it. Just some thing to watch for.

SayNoToPistons 05-29-06 03:28 AM

^ didnt that oil filler cap come with most of the mazdas back in the late 80s and early 90s?

SiKoPaThX 05-29-06 07:59 AM

We're talking about the coolant filler neck.
