throwout bearing vs. clutch fork
how the hell do i get them apart to change out for a new one? (the bearing not the fork)
|
Unbolt the fork from the tranny, both come right out.
Use grease on the collar around the tranny input shaft where the TO bearing rides, and a little grease on the "wings" of the TO bearing where it meets the fork. When re-installing the fork, use a little Loctite on the bolts. Dale |
If you can't solve this simple test, you do not have the "Right Stuff".
