Things to do with the UIM off

I just pulled the UIM off for the first time to clean up the ISC and hopefully improve my idle w/accessories going. Before I put this all back together does anyone want to chime in with some cheap parts its good to replace? Check valves, solenoids, etc... I'm going to search around but if anyone wants to take a sec that'd be great.

DaleClark has some check valves that are really inexpensive and work great.

Yep, my check valves are a good one. Not to mention replace the hoses that you have to remove to pull the UIM with silicone. You don't have to get crazy and replace ALL the hoses - any hose that's baked on there won't be going anywhere any time soon.

BTW, here's more info on my check valves -

I recommend Hose Techniques silicone vacuum lines as well.

Delete the double throttle (you'll need a block off plate) and delete the coolant through the throttle body (you have to run a length of coolant hose from the back iron to the rear of the filler neck/waterpump housing). Those two mods alone could give you an additional 5-10 rwhp.

i think i will try blocking off coolant to the TB.

what about solenoids? what ones are cheap enough to replace just for the heck of it? i am having some boost control issues at high rpm so it would be cool to eliminate a few things while i'm in here.
