Are there any companies out there still making Transmission Braces?

I've been unable to find anyone selling a transmission brace for our car. Does anyone know of a shop that still has one for sale?

Just so you guys know we are reworking those, the ones your linking to are no longer available, the new ones are a much nicer piece with easier fitment and less NVH transfer.

Sean, will the new model fit with my custom "Pimpin A-Spec 4 inch Exhaust?" The downpipe gets in the way of the current one.

Only 1 i knew of off the top of my head. Get the new brace listed up!

The new model will be a completely different piece it will sacrifice some of the solidness of the old one for ease of fitment and wont transfer as much noise into the floor as the old ones do. It is my intention to get it to work with any exhausts as well. They will be a little bit more expensive than the old ones due to being a multi piece design but I will try and keep it down. The bigger issue will be how do I like it overall. A few will go out to certain members strictly for feedback.

I used to have a Dragon Trans brace...it did transmit a ton of NVH even with thick rubber washers sandwiching the brace. Didn't take me long to take it off and sell it. With that being said, it would be interesting to try your new one Sean.

Well the main thought is the other one should have been easy to install, the issue was it could always be confused and people tried putting them on upside down and or backwards. That and if the chassis had any issues it made it a tuff fit. It also transfered a good amount of vibration. So the new one will hopefully resolve those issues if not completely certainly make a good improvement.

The one I made for my 20b conversion is pretty trick. It has two rubber bushings on each end. Since my engine is moved back 5-1'/2", I was able to use the 3 lower transmission case bolts to mount it. The two PPF frame bolts were too far away. This allowed me to eliminate my ppf frame all together. :) It should dampin vibration pretty well.

Found another one, not sure how it fits though

I remember emailing you about the transmission brace earlier last year. Do you have an ETA on the new unit?

I would love to have a transmission brace before hitting the track this year :)

Hey Sean, i am needing a brace also. I tried ordering one over the weekend but I could'nt figure out how to order thru your site.

Do you know when your new units will be available? I got a great build and can provide feedback for you..

Thanks
Neal

Any news on this brace? I would like to see some pictures to determine if it will clear my 4" downpipe.

Does using this brace allow for complete removal of the PPF? I hate my PPF. It keeps breaking (even a reinforced on) from Hoosier A6 4500rpm launches (~400whp).

Back from the dead. Banzai currently sells a nice brace, 2 styles.
